Research Reports

In addition to publishing articles and conference proceedings, Americae presents a forum for publishing reports about archaeological research that may be shorter than a traditional article. We also have the capacity to publish high resolution photos, drawings, videos/animations, and sound files to accompany such reports. A research report may detail the results of a specific excavation (e.g., a burial context), the analysis of a unique object or group of objects (e.g., artifacts from museum collections that present important data, but perhaps lack a specific provenience), or a new method or protocol for excavation/recovery/analysis, etc.
